I Am by Lamas Alasi

Lamas Alasi i am

I am a fast mover, too fast for some.

I wonder what life would be like without war,

I see reindeers flying on Christmas Eve,

I want to fly up high with the birds.

I am a fast mover, too fast for some.

I pretend that I am a flying bird at night.

I feel the cool breeze on a hot summer’s day,

I touch the clouds as I fly up high ,

I worry about the future of the future generation,

I cry for the time I’ve wasted on the wrong people.

I am a fast mover, too fast for some.

I understand that hard work pays off,

I say we are all equal,

I dream of moving away and starting fresh,

I try and get my point across,

I hope that the future is brighter than the past.

I am a fast mover, too fast for some.
