I will put in the box
Mountains with snow capped peaks
Flowers that only grow in the sea
Lots of tears and memories.
I will put in the box
Eyes that see everywhere
Laughter and smiles of who we love
The bright yellow light of the sun.
I will put in the box
A personal gym and a world of Disney
A pair of wings so I can fly
My bowling shoes and infinite chocolate.
My box is fashioned from silver, wood and silk,
With snowdrops on the lid and magic in the corners
Its hinges are little envelopes that were never sent.
I shall dream in my box
About swimming in Greece
Then I’d wake up on a bright star in space
Where I would live forever.
